Bengaluru, Jan 30 (NationPress) The Congress-led administration in Karnataka has released an official notice advocating for the utilization of khadi among government officials in honor of the 77th Republic Day, celebrated on January 26.
On Thursday, the state government called upon its officials to don khadi attire on the first Saturday of each month.
The Chief Secretary of the state, Shalini Rajneesh, issued this directive emphasizing that "Khadi" transcends mere clothing; it stands as a representation of our nation's dignity and pride. Currently, khadi weavers are innovating to create garments with contemporary designs.
