Is Rahul Gandhi's Wisdom Being Stolen Instead of Votes?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Dec 14 (NationPress) Spiritual leader and former Congress figure, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, criticized the Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party's recent "vote theft rally," doubting its authenticity and purpose.
In an interview with IANS while traveling from Amroha to Sambhal, he dismissed the claims as unfounded and accused Congress of political disarray.
Directly addressing Rahul Gandhi, he noted that the Congress party had governed India for nearly sixty years.
"If Rahul Gandhi is now claiming vote theft, does that imply that Congress governments were established through stolen votes?" he queried.
In a pointed remark, he stated that there was no vote theft but rather “Rahul Gandhi's wisdom has been stolen,” suggesting humorously that a police report should be filed to retrieve it.
The spiritual guru also critiqued the Opposition’s leadership narrative, asserting that since Rahul was named the Opposition's leader, his focus had shifted to issues like graves, jihad, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
He claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s political dialogue lacked important national symbols and icons such as 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', 'Vande Mataram', the Ram Temple, and Swami Vivekananda.
Instead, Krishnam alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s rhetoric was laden with divisive themes.
Continuing his critique, he suggested that the Congress party should undergo training in reciting the Fatiha.
Reacting to Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra's assertion that Rahul Gandhi could become the Prime Minister in 2029, Krishnam emphasized that the Prime Minister of India is chosen by the public, not through applause at political events.
"The decision is made by peace-loving citizens, not by leaders on a stage," he stated.
Responding to comments regarding PM Modi's confidence, he remarked that PM Modi is not just India's leader but a global figure, esteemed worldwide, including in the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel, Japan, and France.
He concluded that Rahul Gandhi fails to grasp this due to his own declining self-assurance.
