  • Political alliances should prioritize the welfare of the people.

New Delhi, Sep 18 (NationPress) Acharya Pramod Krishnam harshly criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday for his continuous efforts to discredit and defame the country's constitutional institutions. He also accused Gandhi of lacking accountability, despite his significant role in the political and electoral landscape.

Expressing strong disapproval of Rahul Gandhi's statement that it is not his responsibility to protect democracy, Pramod Krishnam described this assertion as both absurd and ridiculous.

Earlier in the day, during a press conference, Rahul Gandhi had claimed the Election Commission was involved in vote deletions in Karnataka and stated that his role was to engage in democratic activities, not to safeguard democracy.

Responding to this, Pramod Krishnam remarked: “Rahul Gandhi seems lost in his own words. He claimed that saving democracy isn't his responsibility. What a misleading statement. Protecting democracy is a collective duty. It is ironic that he actively undermines democracy. His continuous disparagement of constitutional institutions and the Supreme Court is concerning. He needs to reflect on the messages he conveys.”

Moreover, he condemned the Opposition for their unfounded accusations against vital institutions like the Election Commission, the Supreme Court, and the Prime Minister.

Pramod Krishnam stated that the INDIA alliance engages in divisive politics and seeks to create rifts among communities based on religion, language, and regionalism.

“These individuals aim to transform Bihar into Bengal. It is up to the people of Bihar to either accept this or take a stand against it,” he added.

He also backed Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement, asserting that the INDIA alliance wishes to plunge Bihar into chaos similar to Bengal.

“HM Amit Shah is correct. Rahul's coalition aims to convert Bihar into Bengal. Just as there is a Bengal file documenting Bengal's struggles, a Bihar file will emerge. This alliance is not about serving the people of Bihar but about seizing power,” he concluded.

Point of View

Acharya Pramod Krishnam's remarks highlight a critical issue in Indian politics. The protection of democracy is a shared responsibility among all political leaders, and accountability is essential for the health of our democratic institutions. As reporters, we must ensure that all voices are heard fairly, while recognizing the importance of upholding democratic values.
