Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday, 23 July announced he has served a formal legal notice on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, demanding an unconditional public apology within 48 hours for allegedly branding Globe Arena Technologies as his 'benami' company and levelling what KTR described as false and defamatory allegations. KTR warned that failure to comply would result in civil and criminal legal proceedings, including a defamation suit.

The Allegations and the Legal Notice

K.T. Rama Rao strongly condemned Chief Minister Reddy for making what he characterised as malicious, fabricated, and politically motivated statements before the media without producing any supporting evidence. KTR asserted that he has no ownership, financial, proprietary, or any other relationship whatsoever with Globe Arena Technologies.

According to KTR, the legal notice specifically refutes three claims: that Globe Arena is his benami company, that he facilitated CBSE examination contracts for the firm, and that he held any financial interest in the organisation. He called each of these allegations completely false.

KTR's Counter-Challenge to the Chief Minister

Questioning the Chief Minister's credibility, KTR pointed to a contradiction: 'If Globe Arena is really my benami company, why did the Congress Government itself enter into agreements with that company? Your own government signed contracts with the firm, and today you are claiming that it is my benami company. Does the Chief Minister have any sense of responsibility before making such allegations?' he asked.

KTR also issued an open challenge for a live lie detector test, inviting the Chief Minister to sit alongside him before the public. 'I have absolutely no connection with Globe Arena. Let the truth also come out regarding the allegations surrounding Singareni, the AMRUT contracts and other corruption charges. Let the people decide who is speaking the truth,' he said.

NEET Row and Allegations of Congress-BJP Nexus

KTR accused Revanth Reddy of using the Globe Arena allegations to divert public attention from the NEET examination irregularities, which he argued are the responsibility of the Central Government. He said students across the country are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, yet the Chief Minister has avoided naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi or staging any protest before Raj Bhavan.

Alleging a covert understanding between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), KTR claimed: 'Revanth Reddy is with the Congress during the day and with the BJP at night. He fears reopening of old cases and is compromising with the Centre to secure benefits through AMRUT and other contracts.' These are KTR's allegations; the Chief Minister's office has not responded to them as of this report.

KTR's Readiness for Investigation

Responding to Congress leaders' calls for a probe, KTR said he was prepared to cooperate with any investigating agency — including the CID, CBI, or an SIT. He simultaneously demanded that the government order parallel inquiries into allegations involving Revanth Reddy's family, the Srujan Reddy issue, the Singareni scam, and AMRUT contracts.
