Mandya (Karnataka), April 15 (NationPress) Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, expressed that the enduring legacy of Yugayogi Sri Sri Sri Dr late Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji continues to motivate future generations through its emphasis on service, spirituality, and social betterment.

While addressing an audience that included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, and a gathering of seers led by Jagadguru Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Kumaraswamy remarked that the inauguration of the Bhairavaikya Mandir in honor of Yugayogi Sri Sri Sri Dr late Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji was far more than a mere ceremonial affair; it served as a homage to a life dedicated to the service of humanity.

He acknowledged the transformative contributions of the Adichunchanagiri Mutt in the realms of education, healthcare, and social service, which have garnered the respect and devotion of millions.

Expressing his gratitude towards the Prime Minister, Kumaraswamy stated he felt honored by the faith placed in him as a Union Minister and committed himself to serving the nation with diligence.

He emphasized that the legacy of Balagangadharanatha Swamiji serves as an eternal beacon in Karnataka's spiritual and service traditions. Through the principles of ‘anna, akshara and arogya dasoha’ (food, education, and healthcare), the seer illuminated the lives of countless impoverished children and families, becoming a revered figure in their hearts.

Kumaraswamy highlighted that what began as a modest mutt at Adichunchanagiri has evolved into an international spiritual hub under the guidance of Balagangadharanatha Swamiji, who was the 71st pontiff.

Expressing his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the Bhairavaikya Mandir, he noted that the presence of a global leader at the sacred site significantly elevated the occasion.

The Union Minister further stated that Balagangadharanatha Swamiji spearheaded a silent revolution in Karnataka, influencing education, environmental conservation, and healthcare. By traveling extensively through rural areas, the seer made remarkable contributions to advancing education and improving living standards. He also ensured that quality healthcare, previously limited to urban regions, reached rural communities and the homes of less privileged farmers.

Kumaraswamy praised the seer’s efforts in environmental preservation, noting his initiative in planting nearly five crore saplings, many of which have matured into thriving trees.

He described Adichunchanagiri as a multifaceted service center, a refuge for those in distress, and a guiding entity that harmonizes ancient traditions with contemporary practices.

Kumaraswamy urged the public to draw inspiration from Balagangadharanatha Swamiji's ideals and the teachings of Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, and to perpetuate the legacy of service, spirituality, and unity.
