Earlier today, PM Modi expressed sorrow over a tragic incident at a power plant in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh, which resulted in the deaths of at least nine workers and injuries to over twenty others.
He announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of each deceased worker, while those injured would receive Rs 50,000 each.
The Prime Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
