Chandigarh, Oct 26 (NationPress) The life of Sant Namdev-ji Maharaj exemplifies love, devotion, and equality, as he dedicated his efforts to unify society by abolishing discrimination, untouchability, and inequality, stated Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday.

While presiding over a state-level event in Hisar that honored Sant Namdev-ji Maharaj under the 'Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana', an initiative aimed at promoting the teachings of revered saints and notable figures, CM Saini declared that a government institution would be named after Sant Namdev Maharaj in response to public requests.

He announced a financial grant of Rs 51 lakh for the maintenance of various community-managed dharamshalas and for the installation of solar panels.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister mentioned that land would be allocated in compliance with regulations if the community applies for plots in Bhiwani, Panipat, and Narnaul.

CM Saini asserted that other community requests would be forwarded to the appropriate departments for action.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Sant Namdev-ji recognized divinity in every person and relentlessly worked to eliminate social injustices such as casteism, untouchability, and inequality.

He remarked that true religion fosters connections among humanity and promotes compassion. He highlighted that Sant Namdev-ji’s teachings of hard work, devotion, and integrity are integral to Haryana's cultural identity.

"The state’s labor force, including farmers, artisans, tailors, blacksmiths, and all diligent individuals embody his spirit through their commitment and labor,” the Chief Minister noted.

He further stated that the government, driven by its dedication to harmony, goodwill, equitable development, unity, and tolerance, has implemented reforms that simplify life for the average citizen.

"Citizens no longer need to navigate multiple offices to access government services. In today’s Haryana, the aspirations of ordinary people are being met, transforming their dreams into reality. Inspired by the teachings of saints, the state government remains committed to the welfare and upliftment of all societal segments," he added.

"Our primary goal is to raise the living standards of the most disadvantaged, ensuring that the fruits of development reach every individual," the Chief Minister concluded.
