Bhopal, Aug 5 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led state administration has embraced the Gujarat model for the ease of doing business to pave the way for industrial advancement throughout the state.
CM Yadav made this declaration while sharing his government's vision during the Assembly session on the seventh day of the Monsoon assembly.
He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh aims to evolve into a developed state by establishing a significant number of small and medium enterprises, which will also create job opportunities.
Recently returned from a week-long business trip to the UAE and Spain, Chief Minister Yadav informed the House that Madhya Pradesh has substantial land designated for new industries, which will operate under the new industrial policy set to be implemented after January 2024.
The state government previously indicated that over 1.25 lakh acres of land has been allocated for new industries at various sites, equipped with road connectivity and abundant mineral resources to lure investments.
"Our (BJP) government is prioritizing industries that generate employment. In addition to new industrial establishments in rural regions, we are modernizing the industrial chain by developing urban centers," the Chief Minister stated.
Furthermore, CM Yadav recognized the constructive discussions held by legislators from both the ruling BJP and the Opposition Congress regarding various topics, including the metropolitan city proposal.
"Our (BJP) government intends to establish new industries in Madhya Pradesh that can utilize raw materials currently exported outside the state, ensuring that resources are leveraged for value addition and economic enhancement," the Chief Minister remarked.
Earlier, it was reported that investment proposals worth ₹30.77 lakh crore were received during the Global Investment Summit held in Bhopal under Chief Minister Yadav's leadership in March this year.
