Madhya Pradesh BJP Expected to Reveal New District Leaders in Early January

Bhopal, Dec 31 (NationPress) The Madhya Pradesh branch of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to introduce new district leaders, known as 'zila adhyakshs', during the first week of January. Multiple discussions aimed at finalizing the names of 'zila adhyakshs' have occurred, highlighting three to four candidates based on caste dynamics.

As per an earlier announcement from the BJP, the selection process for 'zila adhyakshs' was supposed to conclude by the end of this month. However, it faced delays due to a lack of consensus among leaders and local party members representing various factions.

Sources within the BJP informed IANS that the issue was escalated to the party's Central leadership due to disagreements at the state level. Nevertheless, the Central leadership instructed the state unit to settle the matter through consensus among the leaders and party members.

A new meeting is scheduled to take place in Bhopal with the party's in-charge for Madhya Pradesh, Mahendra Singh, along with state unit chief V. D. Sharma, to finalize the list of 'zila adhyaksh', which will be forwarded to New Delhi for approval, according to the sources.

As stated by MP BJP's media in-charge Ashish Agrawal, Mahendra Singh will arrive in Bhopal on January 1 and will participate in activities at the party headquarters the following day.

Amid the ongoing organizational restructuring to fortify its grassroots network, the BJP has successfully completed elections for its multi-tier 'Booth' and 'Mandal' committees.

A 12-member booth committee consists of one president and 11 members. This election process primarily focused on selecting the presidents of these committees.

The remaining 11 members include 'WhatsApp Pramukh', 'Labharthi Pramukh', secretary, 'Maan Ki Baat Pramukh', and booth-level agent.

The 'Labharthi Pramukh' is tasked with identifying beneficiaries of government schemes at both the Centre and state levels, reporting to the 'WhatsApp Pramukh' at the booth level, who relays real-time feedback from grassroots to the state party headquarters.

The 'WhatsApp Pramukh' is responsible for collecting daily updates from other Pramukhs and communicating this information to the state party headquarters, in addition to organizing and executing various programs.

The election for Mandal committees took place from December 1 to December 15. According to MP BJP chief V. D. Sharma, there are 1,300 mandals across 55 districts in the state.

Previously, Sharma noted that 33 percent of these committee members are women, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'women empowerment'. He also highlighted the creation and digitization of booth committees as a significant accomplishment.
