Bhopal, Oct 28 (NationPress) The BJP government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, is preparing to highlight the significant achievements made over the past two years in celebration of Madhya Pradesh's 70th Foundation Day on November 1.
During a meeting at his office on Tuesday, the Chief Minister and his cabinet members discussed the arrangements in detail.
The Foundation Day festivities will occur at Lal Parade Ground and Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal.
According to a government statement, an exhibition at Ravindra Bhavan will showcase two years of investment promotion and other crucial accomplishments, including advancements made through investments attracted at the Global Investors Summit (GIS).
The exhibition will also feature 'One District, One Product (ODOP)', the legacy of King Vikramaditya, along with artifacts like seals, coins, and temple architecture.
The government intends to unveil numerous initiatives, including digital services, Madhya Pradesh e-Seva, and the Invest MP 3.0 portal. Presentations will highlight efforts made under the Industry and Employment Year 2025, along with an announcement about the theme for the forthcoming year 2026.
Additionally, the government will release a vision document inspired by Mission GYAN, aimed at the comprehensive development of the state, focusing on empowering the Poor (Garib), Youth (Yuva), Farmers (Annadata), and Women (Nari).
On November 2 and 3, a state-level function will feature a play about Samrat Vikramaditya, with a performance by singer Jubin Nautiyal at the Foundation Day event.
Moreover, there will be a presentation of ‘Bhakti Padas’ inspired by the life of Lord Krishna and a drone show themed ‘Virasat se Vikas’.
The Chief Minister shared updates about the state's Foundation Day preparations on social media.
“Today, we met with representatives from social organizations and intellectuals in Bhopal to finalize the plans for the 70th Foundation Day celebrations of Madhya Pradesh,” CM Yadav posted on X.
“On the Foundation Day, the state will unveil the PM Shri Tourism Heli Service, with a symbolic launch on November 1, which will soon operate regularly,” he added.
