During a discussion prompted by MLA Devyani Farande, Minister Desai elaborated that this app will provide comprehensive details about all housing opportunities available statewide under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other Housing Schemes. Beneficiaries will have the ability to select their desired homes and register online. The app is expected to be completed within a three-month timeframe and aims to streamline all processes involved. Furthermore, it will incorporate a transparent lottery system for housing allocation. Every week, a lottery for registered beneficiaries will be conducted by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, ensuring fair distribution of homes.
