“The Pune-Hyderabad corridor will provide substantial advantages to Marathwada and Western Maharashtra,” he remarked.
Moreover, he stated that Rs 5000 crore would be allocated for Growth Hubs over the next five years, benefiting the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune Metropolitan Region, and Nagpur Metropolitan Region.
Fadnavis detailed that from the Rs 12,355 crore, the Maharashtra Rural Road Project will receive Rs 378.38 crore, the Maharashtra Agribusiness Project will be allocated Rs 167.28 crore, while the Economic Cluster for Inclusive Development will get Rs 283.77 crore. An integrated approach to urbanization has been adopted, considering the development of cities with populations of around 5 lakh. This will provide direction, momentum, and funding to various sectors, greatly benefitting Maharashtra,” the Chief Minister remarked.
