Mumbai, June 14 (NationPress) The pace at which complaints are being resolved, particularly for home buyers, has significantly improved since Manoj Saunik assumed the role of chairman of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA).

Since taking office in October 2024 during the MahaYuti administration, Saunik has resolved 1,655 complaints—including 852 new complaints and some that were pending. This rapid resolution has provided essential relief to home buyers.

Since its inception in 2017, MahaRERA has registered 50,223 housing projects. Complaints have been lodged by home buyers for 5,508 projects, accounting for 10.96 percent of total projects registered.

As of June 2025, a total of 10,610 complaints have been received by the chairpersons since July 2017, with 7,732 complaints being resolved under Saunik's leadership.
