Mamta Kulkarni Opens Up About Vicky Goswami and the Drug Case: An Exclusive Interview

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni, who has been associated with a drug trafficking case, has returned to the country after 24 years. In an exclusive discussion with IANS, she revealed her story.

She also addressed her connection with Vicky Goswami and the drug situation.

Mamta Kulkarni stated, "I met Vicky Goswami in 1996, and in 1997, he was apprehended in a drug case. He spent 12 years in prison. During that period, he requested me to visit him, and I met him once. I dedicated my efforts to spirituality during that time. I came to take a holy dip in the Kumbh Mela in 2012, and subsequently, Vicky relocated to Kenya."

When questioned about marriage with Vicky Goswami, the actress asserted, "This is all incorrect. I have not tied the knot with Vicky. I remained celibate for 12 years and abstained from eating onion and garlic during that period. Yes, it is true that I had a relationship with Vicky Goswami and will always cherish my love for him. However, everything came to an end as I prioritized spirituality. I also met Vicky in Kenya, but he was subsequently taken to America due to a drug case. It has been nearly eight years, and now everything is finished.

Regarding the drug case against her, Mamta remarked, "What did I lack? People engage in this for monetary gain. I had 10 film offers at that time, alongside three houses and two cars. Nevertheless, I chose to leave Bollywood. I believe a false case was filed against me in the drug case, possibly because of Vicky or for publicity purposes."

She continued, "I was labeled a fugitive, and the officer who initiated the case against me was also declared a fugitive for several months. As you sow, so shall you reap. What has become of that commissioner today? The police lacked any substantial evidence."
