Mamta Kulkarni Praises PM Modi's Leadership, Affirms Safety of the Nation (IANS Exclusive)

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni expressed her admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, affirming that the nation is secure under his governance.

In a candid interview with IANS, the actress delved into various subjects.

Mamta Kulkarni remarked, "It is incredibly challenging for India to find a leader like him. Whatever I mention about him is an understatement. He has a profound love for the country and is willing to do anything for its welfare. The nation is indeed safe with him at the helm. Modi is an honest Prime Minister… to him, work holds paramount importance."

“With a BJP government in both the state and at the national level, we hope for some remarkable improvements. There are numerous potholes on the roads, and I believe the Law Minister should address this issue,” she noted.

The actress also conveyed her joy regarding the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. She stated, "I am thrilled about the consecration of the Ram temple. A temple was previously there, it was demolished, and now the Ram temple has been reconstructed. I plan to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Additionally, I will visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple and participate in the Kumbh festival to take a holy dip."

Mamta Kulkarni mentioned, "At this point, I consider myself a sanyasi, and I have no interest in Bollywood or any other pursuits. I feel I have outgrown the Bollywood scene. My aspiration is to lead a spiritual life and engage in spiritual discussions to foster unity among people."

Having returned to Mumbai after 24 years amid links to a drug trafficking case, she expressed her emotions. Mamta shared, "As I arrived in Mumbai, I felt overwhelmed with emotions. Tears welled up in my eyes as I reminisced about the place where my journey began and the film industry that provided me so much."

She observed, "There have been significant changes in Mumbai. However, traffic congestion is severe, and the roads are in poor condition. I heard that the BMC has a budget of ₹25,000 crore, yet I don’t see evidence of substantial improvements. The roads are riddled with potholes. Mumbai must be enhanced, as it is the economic hub of the nation. It also deserves to be cleaner."
