Prayagraj, Jan 19 (NationPress) Devotees flocking to Prayagraj to immerse themselves in the Triveni Sangam, the meeting point of Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati, are sharing their satisfaction regarding the preparations made by the central and state governments.
The selfie point, featuring a large cutout of Maha Kumbh alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has emerged as a significant attraction, drawing crowds eager to snap a photo.
In conversations with IANS, many devotees, immersed in the spiritual essence of the event, expressed their thoughts on the arrangements.
Anand Dubey, a visitor from Jharkhand, noted that cleanliness and security measures are commendable, expressing gratitude to the Modi and Yogi administrations for these efforts.
Dubey remarked: "Swachchta Abhiyaan is being effectively implemented, and we hardly see any litter around."
Police officers stationed at various points were providing assistance to newcomers, he added.
Regarding the Digital Kumbh, he mentioned that an app facilitates access to information about food, administrative matters, and specific locations.
Another pilgrim, Mukesh from Jamshedpur, shared that he traveled to Prayagraj using a Tatkal ticket and encountered no issues.
Mukesh stated: "Those who made it here are fortunate. The Digital Kumbh has been a success. Free tents are available, and we faced no difficulties. Everything is excellent."
Akash Khare from Mumbai praised the overall arrangements, stating, "We are fortunate to witness the Maha Kumbh. The ghats are pristine, and toilets are conveniently located every 100 meters."
Ashwin Ghule, also from Mumbai, echoed similar sentiments, expressing gratitude for the efficient arrangements.
Sanjay Pande from Lucknow, who captured a selfie with the cutouts of PM Modi and CM Yogi, commended the government's efforts.
Raghuroop from Haryana remarked: "Yogi ji and Modi ji have made outstanding arrangements. We’ve taken selfies with these two esteemed leaders."
Chandan Kumar from Gaya noted the timely sanitation of toilets by workers.
Shailesh Kumar Pandey from Jharkhand expressed that he was having a remarkable experience.

Meanwhile, two devotees observing 'Kalpvaas' shared insights about their rituals at the event.
Udaybhan Sharma stated: "During 'Kalpvaas' (a month-long stay), one must bathe in the Sangam before dawn, listen to the seers, and visit them."
He also revealed that he has practiced Kalpvass for 17 years, emphasizing the challenge of adhering to all religious protocols.
"Yet, the divine experience is such that once you attend a Kumbh, you will be compelled to return," he affirmed.
Describing his feelings during the month-long stay, Sharma expressed that he feels blessed.
Another devotee, Pushpa Sharma, shared: "Kalpvass is tough, but it can't be practiced in the village... the elderly can eat twice for medication, but the rule permits only one meal daily, and I am adhering to this."
Sourabh Singh from Ettawah, a small vendor selling Prashad, mentioned that business has surged. "There is an abundance of everything," he noted.
Vendor Jaihind Kashyap from Auriya mentioned that he has been visiting the city since 2021.
He expressed happiness regarding increased sales, stating that whatever he brings from the 'mandi' in the morning is sold by evening.
Halki Bai from Jabalpur, who sells vermilion at the Kumbh Mela, reported good business. "Food is available for free. Everything is satisfactory," she stated.
Manish Kashyap, a shopkeeper from Mathura, expressed joy over the arrangements, saying, "There is no stress; everything is in order."
This Maha Kumbh, which began on January 13, is anticipated to draw millions of devotees, continuing until February 26, 2025.
Notably, Indian Railways has increased its efforts to ensure the health and safety of pilgrims, providing well-equipped medical facilities at key railway stations, including Prayagraj Junction.
The observation rooms are outfitted with essential medical equipment such as Electrocardiogram (ECG) machines for heart issues, defibrillators for cardiac arrest situations, oxygen concentrators for respiratory conditions, and glucometers for diabetes management.
