New Delhi, Feb 19 (NationPress) As the revered city of Prayagraj, often referred to as Sangam Nagri, approaches the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh, a steady influx of devotees is observed, all seeking their sacred dips in the Triveni Sangam.
Though the Makar Sankranti festival has concluded, the fervor among pilgrims remains unwavering, with each passing day seeing an increase in visitors. With the Maha Shivaratri Snan scheduled for February 26, thousands continue their journey to this hallowed site.
As reported by the Uttar Pradesh Information Department, over 55.56 crore devotees had taken a holy dip by February 18, with more than 30.94 lakh pilgrims participating in the dip by 8 a.m. on the latest day.
The faith, devotion, and spiritual energy of the masses are evident as they arrive in large numbers, chanting praises to Mother Ganga.
