Patna, July 7 (NationPress) The Jan Suraaj Party, initiated by Prashant Kishor to bring about a transformative change in Bihar, gained new energy on Monday as the well-known YouTuber Manish Kashyap officially became a member of the party.
Kashyap, who has garnered attention for addressing public concerns through social media platforms, characterized his choice as a move towards “becoming the answer” for genuine transformation in Bihar.
At a welcoming event in Patna, party founder Prashant Kishor stated, “Manish Kashyap is more than just a YouTuber; he is committed to driving system change in Bihar. He has consistently supported those who have faced injustice in our state. His goal is to uplift society rather than exploit it. His involvement shows that the discourse on integrity in politics and system transformation is resonating at the grassroots level.”
Kashyap remarked, “To effect real change in Bihar, one must not only pose questions but also become the solution. With this mindset, I am joining Jan Suraaj.”
He elaborated, “Prashant Kishor has taken a pioneering approach by viewing society beyond the lenses of caste and religion, advocating for systemic change. I am eager to commit myself to public service alongside him.”
Kishor, addressing his supporters, emphasized, “We must become the voice of all YouTubers and the youth of Bihar. Manish Kashyap and I are not here to participate in elections. Manish is a talented young individual who has built his identity independently; he is not the son of a political leader. He will be pivotal in our quest for system change. He is joining a family, not just a party.”
“This party is for every Bihari dreaming of a progressive Bihar. The Jan Suraaj movement seeks to liberate Bihar from the jungle raj of Lalu-Nitish. For us, politics transcends electioneering; it is about transformation. Manish Kashyap’s identity stems from his talent, not from the BJP,” Kishor added while congratulating Kashyap on his new role within the Jan Suraaj party.
