Chandigarh, Nov 9 (NationPress) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann vehemently criticized the Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Sunday for his ongoing series of controversial remarks and disgraceful behavior. CM Mann remarked, "I possess 32 teeth, and occasionally my words become reality. Since our government took the reins in 2022, these Congress leaders have struggled to accept the people's decision and began launching unfounded accusations against us. I previously warned that at this pace, they would lose their sanity by 2026. Observing Raja Warring today validates that prediction. No rational person would behave as he does."
The Chief Minister pointed out that Warring's recent acts of ridiculing Sikh Kakars and the religious feelings of the community demonstrate not only his ignorance but also the entrenched anti-Sikh sentiment within the Congress party.
"The Congress leadership has consistently exhibited complete disregard for the Sikh faith and identity. Their actions continue to offend the sentiments of millions, and Raja Warring has once again shown that the Congress has neither heeded history nor altered its conduct," CM Mann stated.
He continued, "It seems we now have extra duties; we may have to establish government mental health facilities for such leaders, as their frustration and animosity have surpassed all boundaries. Rather than engaging in constructive politics, they are denigrating communities and disseminating venom."
CM Mann emphasized that while the Aam Aadmi Party government is dedicated to providing transparent governance, fostering development, and implementing welfare initiatives for the people of Punjab, the Congress leadership remains preoccupied with personal attacks and theatrics.
Recently, Raja Warring was called before the State Scheduled Castes Commission for allegedly making casteist comments against former Union Home Minister Buta Singh, but he failed to appear, citing his commitments related to the Tarn Taran Assembly by-elections scheduled for November 11.
The police have filed charges against Raja Warring under the pertinent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) of 2023, along with the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act of 1989 for his statements.
