Ludhiana, May 14 (NationPress) Criticizing Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Ravneet Singh Bittu, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann remarked on Wednesday that this 'dismissed' leader spews 'venom' against him merely to satisfy his political superiors.
During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted that although the Union Minister originates from Ludhiana, he has contributed nothing significant to the city's progress.
“Bittu rises each morning to launch criticisms against me from the very start, just to please his party leaders,” he stated.
Mann pointed out that these 'dismissed' leaders, who reside in grand residences, remain detached from the populace, which has led to their rejection by the public.
He asserted that traditional political parties are envious of his governance because they cannot accept that a common man's son is effectively leading the state.
According to him, the citizens of Punjab have lost trust in these conventional political parties due to their detrimental and anti-Punjab policies.
CM Mann emphasized that the wise and courageous citizens of the state rejected these parties in the 2022 Assembly elections, granting a decisive majority to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The Chief Minister stated that the state is currently experiencing remarkable development as the people have chosen an honest government that is yielding the desired outcomes.
He noted that previously, voters were left with the option of choosing a lesser evil, often electing corrupt and opportunistic leaders.
CM Mann expressed that the state has entered a new phase of smooth and efficient delivery of services tailored for the citizens.
He mentioned that the government has made history by implementing numerous pro-people and development-focused policies that aim to propel the state towards high economic growth.
