Navi Mumbai, Jan 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that India is a dynamic nation with a rich cultural heritage, emphasizing that the bedrock of our spiritual culture is the spirit of service, which embodies this consciousness.

During the inauguration of the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple of ISKCON in Navi Mumbai, PM Modi stated, "To truly comprehend India, we must first embrace spirituality. I take pride in our government’s unwavering commitment to serving the citizens with full dedication and the spirit of service."

He highlighted various initiatives such as constructing toilets in every household, granting Ujjwala gas connections to impoverished women, ensuring tap water access to all homes, providing free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for the poor, and offering permanent housing to the homeless as examples of work driven by this spirit of service and commitment.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister stated, "This spirit of service facilitates genuine social justice and symbolizes authentic secularism. Our government is linking various pilgrimage and religious sites across the nation through the Krishna Circuit, which spans Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha."

PM Modi expressed confidence that this temple complex will evolve into a holy center for enriching the faith and consciousness of India. He extended his congratulations to all the saints and ISKCON members.

He explained that those who perceive the world solely from a material viewpoint see India as merely a collection of languages and states. However, when one connects with this cultural consciousness, they recognize the vast essence of India.

He added that followers of ISKCON worldwide are united by their devotion to Lord Krishna. There exists another connection that binds them together, guiding each devotee continuously. This represents the teachings of Srila Prabhupada Swami.

"Today, millions across the globe are benefiting from the blessings of his dedication. The activism and efforts of Srila Prabhupada Swami continue to inspire us today," he remarked.

“On this occasion, I also fondly remember the esteemed Gopalkrishna Goswami Maharaj. His vision is interwoven with this project. His blessings are linked to his profound devotion to Lord Shri Krishna. Although he may not be physically present today, we all feel his spiritual essence,” concluded PM Modi.
