PatNew Delhi, Nov 4 (NationPress) In an energizing virtual meeting prior to the Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with dedicated BJP workers, especially women Panna Pramukhs, through a telephonic conference on Tuesday, urging them to achieve a record voter turnout.

The one-hour interaction emphasized women's empowerment and various government initiatives. PM Modi offered his blessings to the workers while criticizing the 'Jungle Raj' era associated with previous opposition governance and underscoring the 'transformative' effects of programs like 'Garib Kalyan Yojana'.

He pointed out the essential role of government schemes in improving the lives of the underprivileged, particularly women within their households.

According to Panna Pramukh Shalini, 'Garib Kalyan Yojana' has been instrumental for the poor. She stated, 'Along with food and shelter, people are focusing on earning money, which has led to prosperity in their homes. Domestic violence has decreased as a result.' She also expressed her heartfelt blessings: 'I bless you. May you have a long life.'

PM Modi recognized the workers as 'truly grassroots activists' and shared a personal story, saying, 'I visited Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur's house, where I learned about his commitment to social justice.' Another Panna Pramukh shared that Karpoori Thakur's vision for social justice is being realized today.

PM Modi urged the women to foster 'unprecedented change', highlighting Bihar's advancements in electricity with initiatives like the 'PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana' and the Metro Rail project aimed at ensuring safe travel for women.

Neelam Chandravanshi, a self-help group leader from rural Bihar, recounted her inspiring journey. 'Initially, no women would join our group. We organized and encouraged them to save. With each woman saving Rs 2,000, we raised livestock. After securing a Rs 50,000 loan under the PM Mudra scheme, we bought four sewing machines. Today, there are 180 women in my group, each has started a business.'

PM Modi commended her efforts, saying, 'You've accomplished remarkable work. We're demonstrating how to cast a vote, highlighting that the lotus flower is the BJP's election symbol.'

The Prime Minister inquired about youth awareness regarding the 'past atrocity era', often referred to as 'jungleraj'.

Chandravanshi shared a troubling incident from 2020: 'My neighbor's daughter was kidnapped while heading to school at 6 p.m. Ransom demands followed a threatening call. It was dangerous to go out during Jungle Raj. Today, women in Bihar are everywhere, standing strong against jungleraj.'

Gunja Baingani, State President of a BJP-affiliated farmers' wing, updated on booth-level mobilization, stating, 'Our BLOs are delivering voter slips door to door. If any voter is unable to vote due to health issues, we arrange transport for them.'

She invoked emotional sentiments, saying, 'The opposition's derogatory remarks about 'Chhathi Maiya' have left a deep impact on mothers and sisters. They remember the insult and will not vote for the opposition.'

PM Modi echoed this sentiment, stating, 'Our women have become independent, and society recognizes their awareness and willingness to vote. This election must ensure a victory that forfeits their security deposits.'

Baingani emphasized the impact of government schemes: 'At least 1,40,00,000 women in Bihar have received Rs 10,000 each. Many women have received this money directly in their bank accounts and have commenced employment. PM Modi has addressed everything from Beti Bachao to Beti Padhao to Mission Indradhanush. I believe women should outvote men this time, aiming for 100 percent participation.'

Vandana Patel, a BJP Mahila Morcha member from a farming family, praised agricultural reforms: 'You spoke about creating 10 million jobs for women, with factories and employment opportunities in every district. Significantly, you've raised the farmers' assistance from Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000. Under your leadership, farmers are gaining strength.'

Sharing experiences from voters, Patel noted, 'When we visit them, they ask, 'Why are you here? Our Modi ji is like God to us. Today, Modi ji provides free food and medicine. He has done so much for us.'

PM Modi declared, 'This time, Bihar will set records with the support of women. We have many promising sisters who will drive change in the villages. Today, I feel renewed confidence.'

This telephonic meeting, strategically timed just before polling day, highlighted BJP's plan to engage women voters, with PM Modi promoting door-to-door outreach and a 'slogan of 225 in 2025', which was quickly coined by Patel.
