Patna, Sep 26 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in an emotional dialogue with numerous women beneficiaries while inaugurating the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana in Bihar through video conferencing. The women voiced their optimism about the initiative and celebrated the generosity being extended to them, which empowers them to realize their dreams.

During the interaction, women affectionately referred to PM Modi as “Bhaiya”, showcasing the strong connection they felt with him.

As part of the scheme, PM Modi directly transferred Rs 10,000 into the bank accounts of 75 lakh women beneficiaries via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

From Punra’s Putul Devi to Bhojpur’s Reeta Devi, each shared their entrepreneurial journeys, underscoring how government welfare schemes have been pivotal in their lives, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister.

PM Modi’s address resonated deeply with the women of Bihar, evident in their candid conversations.

Reeta Devi from Bhojpur shared with the Prime Minister, “My life has transformed. With the Rs 10,000 support, I plan to purchase 100 more chickens. The demand for eggs rises in winter, which will enhance my income.”

Reflecting on how the Modi government’s schemes have positively impacted her family, she stated, “Programs like PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala, and Ayushman Bharat have improved our lives significantly. We now have a solid home, proper sanitation, access to clean water, and healthier cooking options. We receive 125 units of free electricity and free medical treatment under Ayushman.”

Gaya’s Noorjahan Khatun expressed her newfound dignity and empowerment while speaking to PM Modi.

“Our families used to discourage us from venturing out. Now, this Rs 10,000 fund allows us to start businesses of our choice,” she shared.

Her statement, “previously, we viewed our husbands as our assets; now they see us as lakhpatis,” brought smiles and applause from fellow participants.

Ranjeeta Kazi, a resident of West Champaran, described the Rozgar Yojana as akin to a festival.

“Ujjwala has liberated us from smoke. With the Rs 10,000, I will invest in jowar and bajra farming. I aspire to actively contribute to the Swadeshi movement and become a lakhpati someday,” she remarked.

For Putul Devi from Purnea, who operates a small sweet-making business, the Mahila Rojgar Yojana has been a dream realized.

“Upon receiving Rs 2 lakh, I will expand my business and contribute to the nation’s progress with the PM’s vision of Swadeshi. People used to mock me, but joining Jeevika changed everything. The 125 units of free electricity help me save and invest in my children’s education.”

In a lighthearted moment, when PM Modi inquired if Putul Devi was aware of the political discourse surrounding 'jalebi,' laughter erupted among the attendees.

PM Modi encouraged the women to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations with fervor, stating, “Go to at least one area in your village and inform others about government initiatives. Inspire them as you have inspired us today.”
