Ahmedabad, Jan 9 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to commence a three-day journey in Gujarat starting Saturday, where he will engage in significant religious, cultural, diplomatic, and infrastructure-related activities in Somnath, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad.

The trip will kick off on Saturday evening when the Prime Minister arrives in Somnath. At 8 p.m., he will participate in Omkar Mantra chanting alongside devotees at the Somnath Temple, followed by a spectacular drone show organized in the temple complex.

On January 11, at 9:45 a.m., he will take part in the 'Shaurya Yatra', a ceremonial procession honoring the numerous warriors who valiantly defended the Somnath Temple throughout history.

At 10:15 a.m., he will perform Darshan and Pooja at the temple, and subsequently, at 11 a.m., attend a public event commemorating the 'Somnath Swabhiman Parv'.

Later that day, the Prime Minister will proceed to Rajkot for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference concerning the Kutch and Saurashtra regions.

At 1:30 p.m., he will inaugurate the trade show and exhibition of the conference, followed by the official inauguration of the regional conference at 2 p.m. at Marwadi University, where he will address attendees.

From Rajkot, the Prime Minister will head to Ahmedabad. At 5:15 p.m., he will inaugurate the final stretch of Phase 2 of the Ahmedabad Metro, connecting Sector 10A to Mahatma Mandir, during a ceremony at the Mahatma Mandir Metro Station.

On January 12, Prime Minister Modi will meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Ahmedabad.

Both leaders will visit the Sabarmati Ashram at 9:30 a.m., then participate in the International Kite Festival at the Sabarmati Riverfront at 10 a.m. This will be followed by bilateral discussions beginning at 11:15 a.m. at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

The meeting will assess the advancements made under the India–Germany Strategic Partnership, which has recently celebrated 25 years.
