Bhopal, June 25 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Madhya Pradesh has successfully finalized the recruitment of 3,756 candidates for various positions since December 2023, according to government officials who spoke on Wednesday.
These recruitment processes were conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
"Of the 4,492 posts advertised through 75 notifications since December 2023, recommendations for 3,756 candidates have been sent to their respective departments, marking the completion of the recruitment process," stated State Public Service Commission Chairman Rajesh Lal Mehra.
Mehra also mentioned that the Commission has issued 81 recruitment advertisements, aiming to fill an additional 5,562 posts in the upcoming months.
Currently, 61 recruitment processes are in progress for 5,317 posts. The MPPSC is effectively adhering to its annual examination calendar, ensuring timely results are published in accordance with the Madhya Pradesh government and High Court's directive to announce results for 87 percent of the advertised vacancies, he added.
The Commission has also announced results for three State Service Examinations (2019, 2021, 2022) for 1,109 posts and three State Forest Service Examinations for 200 posts during this period since December 2023.
Notable recommendations include 72 Deputy Collectors to the General Administration Department, 51 Deputy Superintendents of Police for the Home Department, and 132 Assistant Directors for the School Education Department.
Additionally, there are 22 posts in the Madhya Pradesh Finance Service, 19 Assistant Conservators of Forests, and 181 Forest Rangers/Project Officers for the Forest Department, alongside seven Radiology Specialists for the Public Health and Medical Education Department, among others.
Candidates selected by the Commission undergo a thorough verification process and are appointed by nearly 48 government departments in Madhya Pradesh, as stated by the Commission.
"Apart from All India Services officers, most gazetted officers serving in all 55 districts and departments of Madhya Pradesh have been selected through MPPSC at some stage in their careers," it added.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed his satisfaction with the Commission's efforts, stating that MPPSC, as a constitutional body, has consistently identified and selected the most qualified individuals for crucial government roles, showcasing its dedication to public service.
"The Commission has meaningfully contributed to nation-building and reinforced its role as a cornerstone for an efficient and capable state administration," he added in a statement.
