New Delhi, April 12 (NationPress) The BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda is currently on a vital two-day trip to Odisha, which features significant party and government activities. He will officially inaugurate a three-day training camp for BJP MLAs and MPs in Puri on Saturday.
This event commenced on the evening of April 11 and will continue until April 13. Its objective is to fortify the party’s leadership by enhancing understanding of organisational operations, governance capabilities, ideological clarity, and goal-driven execution.
The training session is regarded as a tactical initiative to align the party's elected officials with its fundamental vision, especially in light of crucial political events anticipated in the state.
Nadda’s visit kicked off on Friday with the formal introduction of the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Odisha, which holds significant political and public importance. The State BJP President Manmohan Samal mentioned that approximately 3.5 crore residents are expected to gain from this health insurance initiative.
The recent BJP-led government in Odisha launched the scheme six years after its introduction by the Centre, indicating a policy change from the prior BJD administration, which reportedly opted out due to political disagreements.
The Union Minister was received at the Biju Patnaik International Airport by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, state BJP President Manmohan Samal, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, and other senior party leaders.
Additionally, during his visit, Nadda is set to inaugurate the new facility of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Pediatrics in Cuttack, further highlighting the Centre’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure in Odisha.
