Davos (Switzerland), Jan 19 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Sunday. His primary goal is to promote Andhra Pradesh to global business leaders and industrialists for potential investments.

CM Naidu intends to showcase the state's new employment-focused industrial policies and engage with top executives to draw in investments.

Prominent companies like Google have already committed to investing in Andhra Pradesh. Utilizing his extensive experience, strong relations with industry leaders, and prior achievements, the Chief Minister has successfully secured significant investments within just seven months, according to a statement.

Naidu's schedule begins with a departure from Amaravati to Delhi at 4 p.m. on Sunday, followed by a flight to Zurich at 1:30 a.m. on Monday.

Upon arriving in Zurich, he will meet with India's ambassador to Switzerland before interacting with industrialists at a local hotel.

Additionally, he will meet with Telugu industrialists to discuss investment opportunities during the Meet and Greet Telugu Diaspora event.

The Chief Minister intends to utilize Davos as a platform to present Andhra Pradesh's human resources, infrastructure, government subsidies, stable leadership, and efficient business climate. These elements are expected to attract both national and international firms, as stated on Saturday.

After his activities in Zurich, CM Naidu will undertake a four-hour road journey to Davos. There, he will attend a dinner meeting with industrialists and have a special meeting with ArcelorMittal executive chairman Lakshmi Mittal. These meetings are integral to his strategy for securing investments in Andhra Pradesh.

Throughout the four-day World Economic Forum event, CM Naidu will participate in discussions on green hydrogen. He is scheduled to meet with chief executives and chairpersons from companies such as Coca-Cola, Welspun, LG, Carlsberg, Cisco, Walmart International, and Cognizant Technologies.

The Chief Minister has arranged at least 10 meetings and conferences each day during his visit.

CM Naidu's trip will conclude on the fourth day when he returns to Zurich before making his way back to India.

Accompanying him on this journey are IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Industries Minister TG Bharat, and other officials who will assist in promoting Andhra Pradesh's investment prospects.
