New Delhi, May 25 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday applauded all participants of the NDA Chief Ministers' Conclave for exchanging best practices and inspiring other states to contribute to Viksit Bharat @2047.
Following the meeting, which included around 20 chief ministers and 18 deputy chief ministers, PM Modi shared a message on the social media platform X: “I participated in the NDA Chief Ministers' Conclave in Delhi. We engaged in thorough discussions on various topics.”
“Different states presented their best practices across various domains, including water conservation, grievance redressal, enhancing administrative frameworks, education, women empowerment, sports, and more. It was remarkable to hear these experiences,” he noted.
During the assembly, the leaders listened to PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat address, which was the first after Operation Sindoor. In the monthly radio segment, PM Modi praised the Armed Forces, stating that the operation exemplified a transforming India, united in combating terrorism while embracing self-reliance, as per reports.
The leaders also paid respects to the 26 individuals who tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack on April 22 in Kashmir's Pahalgam. In response to this incident, India initiated Operation Sindoor to avenge the deaths. Nine terrorist bases located in Pakistan and PoK were accurately targeted and destroyed by the Indian Armed Forces.
A resolution was also adopted to commend the armed forces and their actions during Operation Sindoor, celebrating PM Modi’s leadership as the first anniversary of his government in its third term approaches.
The NDA conclave also embraced a proposal regarding the caste census. Sources indicated that BJP President J.P. Nadda reminded NDA leaders that the alliance advocates for social justice for marginalized communities and does not engage in politics surrounding caste enumeration.
A vital portion of discussions at this conclave was dedicated to showcasing the best practices of various NDA state governments. Several chief ministers presented their states' signature schemes.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also present at the conclave and expressed in a message on X, “Today in New Delhi, alongside all my fellow Chief Ministers, I had the opportunity to listen to the program of honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji @MannKiBaat.”
