New Delhi, Aug 5 (NationPress) The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary party convened on Tuesday to express their support for the ‘new normal’ established under the leadership of PM Modi regarding national security. They commended PM Modi's outstanding leadership in guiding the nation through such critical challenges.
During a significant NDA gathering in Delhi, PM Modi was adorned with a garland by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and received accolades from fellow members, accompanied by resounding applause and chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’.
PM Modi directed a pointed critique at the Opposition for their negative posturing following the Pahalgam attacks, stating, “Where will you find an Opposition shooting itself in the foot?” He referred to their calls for a discussion on Operation Sindoor.
The NDA leaders, at this pivotal meeting in the capital, emphasized the nation's three newly asserted commitments to combat terrorism originating from across the border.
“Firstly, should there be a terrorist assault on India, a robust response will be delivered, targeting the very roots of terrorism. Secondly, India will not tolerate any form of nuclear intimidation. Thirdly, there will be no distinction between terrorists, their leaders, and their supporters; all will face firm retaliation,” they stated in unison.
The NDA MPs, in their resolution regarding Operation Sindoor, praised PM Modi's “unwavering resolve, visionary statesmanship, and decisive leadership” for not only guiding the nation purposefully but also reigniting a renewed spirit of unity and pride among Indians.
They further applauded PM Modi for the government's extensive global outreach following Operation Sindoor.
“In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister facilitated 59 Members of Parliament from various parties to visit 32 countries to present India's perspective. This marks one of the most comprehensive global outreach efforts ever undertaken by India, showcasing the country as a victim of terrorism and emphasizing that a terrorist attack anywhere is an affront to humanity globally,” they stated.
They described the US's ban on the Lashkar proxy, The Resistance Front (TRF), as a significant achievement for India's diplomatic initiatives, asserting that India's influence on the world stage is growing under PM Modi's leadership.
Moreover, they pointed out the BRICS' condemnation of the Pahalgam attack in its joint declaration, despite China being a major member of this global entity, viewing it as a testament to India's strong diplomatic efforts against terrorism emanating from Pakistani territory.
