New Delhi, Aug 5 (NationPress) The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary party convened on Tuesday to commend the remarkable success of Operation Sindoor and to honor the Indian Armed Forces for their brave efforts in delivering a lesson to the nation's adversaries.

During the meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with other senior ministers from the BJP and its coalition partners, the leaders expressed their admiration for the exceptional and inspiring leadership exhibited by the Prime Minister following the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22.

Furthermore, the NDA officials recognized the unparalleled bravery and steadfast dedication of the Armed Forces, which displayed heroic valor during both Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. They also passed two resolutions celebrating the achievements of these operations.

Operation Sindoor represented India's decisive military response to terrorism sponsored by Pakistan in Kashmir, while Operation Mahadev resulted in the elimination of three notorious terrorists directly involved in the Pahalgam attacks, coinciding with the onset of Parliament’s Monsoon Session.

The NDA Parliamentary Party expressed strong endorsement for naming India’s military retaliation as Sindoor (vermilion), asserting that “the cowardly terrorists stripped our women of their sindoor, while our Armed Forces, through Operation Sindoor, avenged their cruelty and safeguarded millions of Indians.”

“India’s resolute response delivered justice for the mothers and daughters of the nation, aptly termed Operation Sindoor. It was a powerful testament to the nation’s determination under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,” stated the resolution.

The NDA Parliamentary Party also acknowledged a series of defense reforms introduced during the Modi government's three terms, emphasizing how these reforms served as a robust deterrent during Operation Sindoor, providing India with a strategic edge over a hostile neighbor.

Thanks to the Modi government’s commitment to reforms and a focus on achieving ‘atmanirbharata’ (self-reliance) in the defense sector, the forces executed an integrated operation, effectively neutralizing the terror forces across the border and countering the Pakistani military’s offensive.

It is significant to note that on April 22, the Pakistan-based terrorist organization The Resistance Front (TRF), linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), perpetrated one of the most brutal terror attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 innocent tourists, including a Nepali national and a local ponywalla.
