New Delhi, April 20 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has submitted a second supplementary charge sheet concerning the notorious Neemrana hotel shooting incident, which is tied to the Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla.
The recent development includes formal charges against three additional individuals - Dharmendra Singh, Gaurav, and Deepak - under sections 18 and 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
This charge sheet was filed in the NIA Special Court in Jaipur on Saturday, increasing the total charged individuals in this case to six.
The investigation centers on a criminal conspiracy involving Arsh Dalla and his accomplices, aimed at instilling terror and executing violent acts within India.
Last month, the NIA had already charged three other suspects: Sachin alias Praveen alias Dholia, Yogesh alias Monu, and Vijay alias Kale. These individuals were reportedly involved in implementing Dalla's plans on Indian territory, including the shooting incident at a hotel in Neemrana, Rajasthan.
The case was initially managed by the Rajasthan Police, which led to the arrest of eight suspects and the filing of a chargesheet against seven individuals. Due to its international terror connections and the significant risk to national security, the case was subsequently transferred to the NIA for further scrutiny.
The Neemrana hotel shooting is considered part of a wider conspiracy orchestrated by Arsh Dalla from abroad, involving local operatives recruited for targeted acts of violence.
The NIA's investigation has revealed evidence of Dalla's extensive network and his efforts to revitalize and bolster Khalistani terror activities through such attacks.
The agency has confirmed that investigations are still underway, with more arrests and charge sheets anticipated as they work to uncover the complete scope of the conspiracy.
Authorities are committed to dismantling the operational and financial frameworks supporting these planned acts of terrorism.
