New Delhi, Oct 29 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah has decisively put an end to the rumors regarding the leadership of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, emphatically stating that the coalition will participate in the upcoming assembly elections under the guidance of the current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“There is no vacancy for CM in Bihar; there is no confusion here. We are fighting the election under the leadership of Nitish Kumar,” HM Shah asserted during a TV 18 news channel program on Wednesday.

The statement follows a rise in political tensions, particularly from opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, who recently labeled Kumar as a “puppet” of the BJP and predicted that the saffron party would marginalize him after the elections.

HM Shah, however, rejected such allegations and directed his criticism towards what he referred to as the “dynastic politics” of the Mahagathbandhan.

"Lalu ji desires his son to ascend to the CM position, and Sonia ji wishes her son to become the PM. I want to inform them both that there is no room available for either of the sons in Bihar or in Delhi. There's Modi ji, and in Bihar, there is Nitish Kumar ji," he stated.

HM Shah also emphasized the progress achieved under the “double-engine” government led by PM Modi and Kumar, mentioning that over 85 million people have benefited from free food grains and that 6.6 crore bank accounts have been opened under the Jan Dhan Yojana.

He credited Kumar with liberating Bihar from the “jungle raj” over the last 11 years.

According to him, Bihar has experienced significant advancement in the previous 11 years under the “double-engine” administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.

As the Bihar assembly elections approach, scheduled for two phases on November 6 and 11, with results to be announced on November 14, HM Shah’s endorsement of Kumar seems to indicate a cohesive front within the NDA.

With the campaign heating up, the battle lines are drawn between continuity and change, with Nitish Kumar’s leadership at the center of the political landscape.
