According to SP Kachhawa, law enforcement received confidential intelligence indicating that Shravanram Bishnoi, a resident of Panchlasiddha village, was managing a significant drug network from his home.
In response to the intel, a police team under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Asharam Chaudhary and IPS officer Jatin Jain conducted a raid on the suspect's residence.
Upon sensing the police's approach, the primary suspect, Shravanram Bishnoi, managed to escape the scene.
Nonetheless, a thorough search of the premises led to the discovery of 670 grams of illicit MD drugs hidden within a specially built secret compartment beneath the bathroom floor.
The confiscated drugs are estimated to hold a value of Rs 1.35 crore in the illegal market.
Additionally, authorities seized Rs 11.23 lakh in cash, believed to be earnings from drug trafficking.
Two diaries containing meticulous records of hawala transactions amounting to crores of rupees were also found, highlighting the accused's involvement in a broader financial network associated with the drug trade.
During the operation, the police apprehended the accused's wife, Pooja Bishnoi (23), at the residence.
A case has been filed under pertinent sections of the NDPS Act, and investigations are ongoing.
Multiple police units are now engaged in the pursuit of the absconding primary suspect.
Khinvsar Station House Officer Ramnarayan Bhanwariya, together with the Nagaur DST, played a crucial role in the success of this operation.
The team comprised Head Constables Sohanram, Prakashram, Mancharam, and Constables Shravanram and Guttu.
