This action was executed as part of Operation Sankalp, a dedicated initiative by the Nagaur Police aimed at establishing a “Drug-Free Nagaur.”
The illegal substance was cleverly hidden within a bag of chillies and was discovered during a raid conducted at Chokha ki Dhani in Khudi Kalan.
The operation was led under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Roshan Meena, with supervision from Additional SP Asharam Chaudhary and Circle Officer Jayprakash Beniwal.
Responding to a specific tip-off, the team, guided by Degana SHO Harish Sankhla and DST In-charge Vijay Singh, carried out the raid effectively.
During the search, law enforcement uncovered the MDMA concealed at the home of the accused, Shravanram Bishnoi (42).
Despite attempts to avoid detection, the operation was executed flawlessly, leading to the seizure of the contraband. A case has been filed under the NDPS Act at the Degana Police Station, and the suspect, Shravanram, has been arrested.
Another suspect, Vineet Bishnoi from Merta Road, is currently on the run, with efforts to capture him underway. The investigation has been assigned to Thawla SHO Ashok Kumar Chaudhary.
Authorities acknowledged the combined efforts of the Degana Police and the DST, emphasizing the contributions of SHO Harish Sankhla and DST Head Constable Mahendra.
Officials reaffirmed their dedication to strict enforcement against drug traffickers through Operation Sankalp.
