Srinagar, April 24 (NationPress) In response to the gruesome terror attack that occurred in Pahalgam, officials have instructed government employees under the PM’s rehabilitation package to operate from home until April 27 in Kashmir.
The initial orders from the district education officer in Baramulla were subsequently disseminated by authorities across other districts, mandating PM package employees to refrain from attending their designated work locations until April 27.
The PM’s rehabilitation package was established by the previous UPA government at the national level to support the displaced Kashmiri Pandits, who were compelled to leave their homes due to threats from terrorists in the 1990s.
This directive for PM package government employees to work remotely follows the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, where 26 individuals, including 25 tourists and a local resident, lost their lives in Baisaran meadow.
