Patna, Jan 14 (NationPress) On the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti, the chief of Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP), Pashupati Kumar Paras, made a notable visit to Rabri Devi’s residence located at 10 Circular Road in Patna on Tuesday evening. Accompanying him were his son and nephew, Prince Raj, a former Member of Parliament.
This meeting drew attention as Pashupati Paras, a prominent player in Bihar’s political arena, arrived at the home of Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is the national president of RJD, to extend his greetings and engage in discussions of shared interest. Their conversation lasted approximately half an hour.
As reported, Pashupati Paras invited Lalu Prasad Yadav to join his Makar Sankranti Dahi-Chura feast, which is set to occur the next day. It is anticipated that Lalu Prasad Yadav will partake in the feast organized by Pashupati Paras on January 15. The event is scheduled to take place at Kautilya Nagar, near the Veterinary Boys Hostel in MLA Colony, Patna, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Although Makar Sankranti officially occurs on January 14, certain individuals, including Pashupati Paras, are observing it on January 15 due to the festival coinciding with Tuesday.
The RLJP has also invited media representatives to attend the feast, recognizing it as a significant social and political gathering.
Shravan Kumar, the RLJP National Spokesperson, underscored the event's significance, encouraging the public to join the Dahi-Chura celebration and demonstrate support for the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party.
Earlier that day, Lalu Prasad Yadav hosted a Dahi-Chuda feast at Rabri Devi’s home on 10 Circular Road. This year’s gathering, similar to the previous year's, was exclusive to a select group of invited leaders at Rabri Devi’s residence. Preparations for this notable feast commenced two days prior, and on Tuesday morning, distinguished invitees began to arrive for the occasion.
The Dahi-Chura feast transcends mere festive celebrations; it serves as a symbolic event where alliances are showcased, messages are communicated, and nuanced political strategies are formulated.
