Patna, April 11 (NationPress) Senior Congress figure Sachin Pilot arrived in Patna on Friday to engage in the final phase of party leader Kanhaiya Kumar's 'Palayan Roko, Naukri Do Yatra' - a significant initiative aimed at drawing attention to unemployment and the government’s indifference towards the youth in Bihar.

Speaking to reporters at the Patna airport, the Congress leader condemned both the state and central administrations, accusing them of neglecting the aspirations of the young populace.

“This yatra represents our demand to halt migration and secure jobs. The administrative disorder in Bihar and the government’s disregard for the youth is intolerable,” he remarked.

More than 5,000 Congress supporters, led by Pilot and Kumar, are preparing to march towards Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's residence in a peaceful demonstration.

This rally signifies the conclusion of the Congress’ youth-focused campaign that has traversed hundreds of kilometers across Bihar under Kumar’s leadership.

Pilot, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, accused the Nitish government of allowing frequent question paper leaks and irregularities in recruitment processes that have dashed the hopes of countless young aspirants.

“The Nitish government in Bihar and the Modi government at the Centre have let down the youth. We are resolute in holding them responsible and seeking answers,” Pilot asserted.

Pilot reaffirmed the Congress’ dedication to the youth, emphasizing that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi envisions empowering the younger generation.

“The Congress party stands firmly with the youth. We will advocate for their rights and seek justice for their lost opportunities,” Pilot insisted.

This march towards the Chief Minister’s residence occurs amidst escalating political tensions in Bihar, with employment, migration, and governance emerging as pressing issues ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Recently, Rahul Gandhi visited Begusarai, participated in the 'Palayan Roko, Naukri Do' padayatra, and targeted the Modi government alongside Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The historic party is positioning Kanhaiya Kumar as a youth leader in Bihar with the objective of fortifying the party at the grassroots level.
