Piyush Goyal meets LVMH, L'Oréal on India manufacturing and export push

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on 9 May held back-to-back meetings in New Delhi with senior officials from two French giants — luxury goods conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE and beauty major L'Oréal Groupe — to explore opportunities in strengthening manufacturing, sourcing, and exports from India. The engagements signal deepening India-France commercial ties as bilateral trade crossed €12.67 billion in FY 2024-25.

LVMH Meeting: Manufacturing and Cultural Collaboration

The Ministry of Commerce held a productive meeting with Vincent Astoux, International Relations Director of LVMH, at the national capital. According to Minister Goyal, discussions centred on expanding exports through local manufacturing, investing in Indian talent, and promoting Indian culture through future collaborations.
