Ahmedabad, March 4 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his admiration for Vantara, one of the largest animal rehabilitation centers globally, located in Gujarat. He stated that it exemplifies a vibrant representation of our centuries-old commitment to protect the creatures we share our planet with.

PM Modi took to social media to showcase moments from his visit to the rehabilitation center, where he observed injured and accident-affected animals receiving care and treatment.

“At Vantara, I witnessed an elephant that had suffered from an acid attack. The animal was being treated with the highest level of care. Additionally, there were other elephants that had lost their sight, ironically, due to their Mahouts,” PM Modi shared, along with photos of an elephant receiving medical attention.

He also posted a picture of another elephant that had been struck by a speeding truck and is now undergoing treatment at Vantara.

“There were other cases as well. A lioness was severely injured by a vehicle, suffering from critical spinal injuries, yet she was receiving excellent care. Furthermore, a leopard cub, abandoned by her family, was given a new chance at life through proper nutrition,” PM Modi mentioned, along with images of the state-of-the-art facility dedicated to animal care.
