PM Modi Outlines 11 Responsibilities to Realize Developed India by 2047

New Delhi, Dec 14 (NationPress) Emphasizing the welfare initiatives of his administration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented 11 responsibilities and commitments for citizens, including zero tolerance for corruption and abolishing the dynastic system, to realize a Developed India by 2047.

During the second day of the discussion on 75 years since the Constitution's adoption, PM Modi criticized the damage inflicted on the essence of the Constitution by dynastic politics, pledging to involve at least one lakh youth, without any political lineage, into politics to infuse “fresh energy” into the nation.

“It is our constitutional duty to liberate the country from dynastic politics,” he stated.

Stressing that the comprehensive implementation of all welfare programs of the government is the true embodiment of social justice and secularism, PM Modi asserted that the duties and responsibilities of the citizens are vital to our civilization.

He remarked that the Constitution’s essence represented by the phrase “We the people” embodies the principle of ‘Sab ka Vikas’.

Our dedication to the Constitution should be reinforced in the 75th year of Independence and our responsibilities should lead us to “Shreshtha Bharat”, he emphasized.

For the nation’s future and drawing inspiration from the Constitution’s spirit, he expressed his intention to outline 11 Sankalp (duties or commitments for citizens).

The 11 duties he enumerated included mandates for citizens and the government to uphold their responsibilities, ensuring equitable development for all demographics or ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, zero tolerance to corruption, and the societal ostracism of the corrupt.

Enumerating the remaining duties, he stated that every individual should take pride in adhering to the laws and regulations, embracing the nation's heritage, and shedding the colonial mindset.

Targeting the Congress party, the PM articulated the sixth pledge of liberating the nation from the dynastic system.

His seventh pledge was also directed at Congress, whose leaders, including the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, utilize copies of the Constitution as political props. “The seventh duty is to honor the Constitution and prohibit its exploitation for political gain,” he remarked.

Opposing religion-based reservations and advocating for the preservation of quotas was PM Modi’s eighth pledge.

Encouraging women-led development and nation-building through state development constituted his ninth and tenth Sankalp.

He concluded with the 11th pledge that “Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat” should be the guiding principle for all.
