Earlier, during his address, PM Modi asserted that nuclear intimidation will not deter India’s resolve to combat terrorism at its roots globally, delivering a strong message to the international community in light of Operation Sindoor.
In his first address following the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan and the initiation of Operation Sindoor, PM Modi stated that military actions against terror strongholds in neighboring countries have established a new paradigm in India’s robust three-pronged anti-terror strategy.
He elaborated that this new standard emphasizes India's commitment to pursue terrorism globally and respond decisively to threats against its citizens.
“The second aspect of this new standard is that India will not permit any terror supporter to utilize nuclear intimidation as a shield against our response following a terror attack,” he specified.
PM Modi also clarified that under India’s new anti-terror approach, state-sponsored terrorists will be regarded on par with their mentors.
