Kolkata, Sep 17 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches the milestone of 75 years, an exhibition dedicated to his life and contributions was launched at the Indian Museum on Wednesday.
The event was inaugurated by West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya, former party MP Locket Chatterjee, and actor-turned-BJP leader Rudranil Ghosh. This exhibition aims to showcase 25 years of Narendra Modi's administrative journey, which began with his role as the chief minister of Gujarat in 2001 and continued with his ascent to the Prime Minister's position in 2014.
Furthermore, the exhibition will present 75 significant achievements throughout PM Modi's political career.
“Today is not merely a political event; it serves as a platform to present Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accomplishments to the public,” stated Bhattacharya following the exhibition's inauguration.
Noteworthy initiatives led by the central government under PM Modi's leadership have been prominently displayed. More than 60 social security schemes, including housing, sanitation, free rations, cooking gas distribution, and access to electricity and drinking water in every household, as well as free medical services and various employment generation projects in rural and urban areas, have been emphasized.
The exhibition also showcases various infrastructure advancements, such as national highways, rail systems, bridges, flyovers, and metro projects. In addition, detailed exhibits on the Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan missions, along with developments in the digital sector, are included.
Amidst the current geopolitical landscape, the exhibition underscores India's military strength, the enhancement of domestic defense production, modernization of military technology, a robust approach against terrorism, resilience in the face of nuclear threats, and the prevention of external assaults on Indian territory.
The focus also includes the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Visitors can view detailed imagery and narratives of the national flag hoisting event at Lal Chowk in 1992, covering a distance of 14,000 kilometers from Kanyakumari to Srinagar. Additionally, there are accounts of transformations during Modi's tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and how the Modi-led Indian government managed challenges during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
