Nicosia, June 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Cyprus on Sunday, marking the commencement of his three-nation tour that also includes Canada and Croatia.

Upon landing, PM Modi was warmly welcomed at the airport by President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus and Finance Minister Constantinos Kombos, showcasing the long-standing historical connections between the two countries.
President Christodoulides also welcomed PM Modi via X, stating: “Welcome to Cyprus Prime Minister Narendra Modi! Here at the southeastern gateway of the EU and the Mediterranean—a historic visit that marks a new chapter in our strategic partnership. Together, we promise to advance and prosper.”
PM Modi acknowledged this special gesture from the Cyprus President, expressing his gratitude on social media, “Just landed in Cyprus.
