New Delhi, Sep 15 (NationPress) Union Minister Pralhad Joshi shared an inspiring story about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s humility, illustrating how it transformed his interactions with lower-level staff.
On the social media platform X, Joshi released a video as part of the ‘MyModiStory’ initiative, recounting how the Prime Minister’s inclusive leadership approach made a profound impact on him.
"During a meeting of the Council of Ministers, PM Modi recounted a tale about a peon who dedicated over 30 years to the PMO. He personally invited him to share his experience. Until that moment, we seldom engaged with veteran staff such as clerks or junior officers," Joshi reflected in the video.
He emphasized the lesson learned, stating, "We often thought peons were too distant for meaningful conversation. However, PM Modi insisted during Cabinet and Council meetings that we should listen to these individuals as they possess valuable experiences. That motivated me to start engaging with peons, clerks, and junior staff as well."
He captioned the video: "Inspired by the unwavering humility shown by Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji towards employees at every level, we have come to appreciate their experiences. Their insights provide fresh, practical perspectives that enhance our work."
'MyModi Story' is a well-received social media platform that collects first-hand accounts and memories from those who have closely observed PM Narendra Modi.
"If you have an experience or story to share, or know someone who does, please contribute. Contributions can be in the form of video, audio, or written text. Photos with Narendra Modi, letters, or any personal memorabilia associated with him are also welcome," it invites.
As the nation prepares to celebrate PM Modi's birthday on September 17, the BJP will conduct ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ — a 15-day series of service activities from September 17 to October 2, which coincides with the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
During this period, the party will host blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, health check-ups, environmental campaigns, exhibitions, and a variety of social initiatives, including the ‘Modi Vikas Marathon’ and sports festivals.
The campaign will also raise public awareness to promote local goods, aiming to contribute to the vision of a developed India.
PM Modi typically spends his birthday engaging with the public, launching welfare programs, or participating in community service activities instead of holding personal celebrations.
