PM Modi is in Israel on Wednesday and Thursday. Throughout this visit, both nations aim to set new objectives for their Strategic Partnership and advance their collective vision for a thriving and innovative future.
This will be PM Modi's second trip to Israel, following his landmark visit in 2017, which paved the way for new collaborations in defense, agriculture, and water management.
In his departure statement, PM Modi stated, "India and Israel have developed a strong and multifaceted Strategic Partnership that has seen outstanding growth and energy in recent years. I anticipate my discussions with Prime Minister Netanyahu to further strengthen our cooperation in areas such as science and technology, innovation, agriculture, water management, defense and security, trade and investment, and people-to-people connections."
During his visit, PM Modi will engage with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to deliberate on bilateral matters.
"I am also honored to be the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Knesset, which will be a tribute to the strong parliamentary and democratic ties that unite our two nations," he stated.
