Bhopal, Feb 5 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to engage with students nationwide through the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ on February 6, the BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government has instructed district administrations to facilitate the event in every school, including private institutions throughout the state.
The primary state-level gathering will take place at the government-operated Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal. Meanwhile, the state’s School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh will join students at the Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Tendu Kheda, located in the Narsinghpur district.
The state administration has arranged an extensive setup for the programme, allowing students to participate via a live broadcast.
“In addition to television, provisions are being made for viewing the event on internet-connected devices such as computers and laptops,” the government announced in a statement on Thursday.
Beyond the schools, the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative will also be hosted at the State Council of Educational Research and Training and all District Institutes of Education and Training.
To take part in the state-level ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, online registration was available from December 1 to January 11 for students, teachers, and parents. In Madhya Pradesh, over 22.95 lakh students from Classes 6 to 12, more than 1.28 lakh teachers, and over 17,000 parents—totalling 24,41,390 participants—registered.
During this interaction, Prime Minister Modi will respond to students' questions regarding examinations and inspire them to approach their exams with optimism.
Since 2018, PM Modi has been engaging with students through this initiative to help alleviate examination-related stress. The event is scheduled in New Delhi on February 6, commencing at 10:00 a.m., during which the Prime Minister will address a variety of student inquiries.
The event will be streamed live across numerous platforms, including Doordarshan, DD National, DD News, DD India, all channels of All India Radio, the PMO website (mygov.in), YouTube, Ministry of Education platforms, Facebook Live, Swayam Prabha channels, DIKSHA channels of the Ministry of Education, as well as various radio stations.
