What Security Measures Are in Place for PM Modi's Rally in Bikramganj on May 30?

Patna, May 28 (NationPress) The countdown has begun for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Durgadih, Bikramganj in Bihar's Rohtas district on May 30, and preparations are in the advanced stage with extraordinary security measures established.

These measures are in accordance with the Blue Book standards, a detailed security guide provided by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to guarantee the safety of VVIPs.

In total, 23 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-rank officers have been assigned to oversee the security of the venue, plan routes, and monitor sensitive areas.

These officers come from a combination of the Bihar Police, the Crime Investigation Department, and local enforcement agencies.

Critical responsibilities include managing helipad security, controlling VVIP entry points, and ensuring safety across eight designated security zones within the city and event area.

To facilitate seamless coordination, Additional District Magistrates (ADMs) and Senior Deputy Collectors from 13 districts—including Buxar, Bhojpur, Gaya, Siwan, Vaishali, Saran, Arwal, Nawada, Hajipur, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Aurangabad, and Sheikhpura—have been designated to manage logistics, VIP protocol, SPG support, and real-time situation management.

The Special Protection Group (SPG), tasked with the direct protection of the Prime Minister, will be bolstered by a robust administrative structure to ensure a swift response to any emergencies.

Three helipads have been constructed for this notable visit, featuring a primary helipad for PM Modi, a dedicated helipad for CM Nitish Kumar, and an auxiliary helipad for SPG functions.

All helipads are fitted with state-of-the-art GPS surveillance systems and may utilize anti-drone technology to mitigate aerial risks, following intelligence assessments.

To accommodate the expected throngs of attendees, dignitaries, and staff, five distinct parking areas have been established, including VIP vehicle parking, a small vehicle zone, a heavy vehicle area (for buses and trucks), an emergency vehicle corridor, and a staff and security deployment zone.

This strategy is designed to ensure effective crowd management, smooth traffic flow, and rapid emergency responses.
