Puducherry, March 1 (NationPress) An atmosphere of excitement enveloped Puducherry after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit on Sunday. He inaugurated and laid the groundwork for development initiatives worth Rs 2,700 crore, representing one of the most significant infrastructure advancements for the Union Territory in recent history.

Many attendees radiated optimism regarding the region's prospective growth and commended the Prime Minister's efforts.

One attendee remarked, "The arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Puducherry has sparked immense enthusiasm. He has inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects amounting to thousands of crores, including the NIT in Karaikal. Hence, in the forthcoming Assembly elections, the residents of Puducherry will undoubtedly favor development. They will continue to advocate for progress and align with the NDA."

Another participant emphasized the government's dedication to supporting farmers.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unveiled numerous projects for Puducherry today. During the last budget, he allocated Rs 1.62 lakh crore for farmers, proving himself to be a true advocate for their welfare," the participant stated.

Another attendee found the Prime Minister's visit to be motivational.

"It is a privilege that PM Modi was here today. He embodies hope for the entire world and India alike. We came to represent Auroville. One of the most remarkable points he made is his clear and visionary outlook for India's future," the attendee expressed.

Another participant stated, "What the Congress and DMK failed to achieve over the years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accomplished for Puducherry in just five years."

Religious leader Mannargudi Ramarajar Jiyer also voiced his support, stating, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi is undertaking commendable initiatives for the benefit of a Hindu Rashtra. He is also dedicated to the nation's health and well-being. Our blessings will always accompany him."

Music director Gangai Amaran praised the announcements made during the Prime Minister's visit to the Union Territory.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed several schemes today aimed at the advancement of Puducherry. Plans to enhance everything from spirituality to tourism have been introduced. I am merely an ordinary citizen, yet it’s apparent what the BJP is achieving for the nation through the double-engine government," he commented.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister addressed the gathering, reaffirming the Union government's dedication to fortifying both urban and rural infrastructure while improving the living standards of Puducherry's residents.

The visit is perceived by supporters as a major boost to Puducherry's development agenda ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
