Officials Suspended and Charged

Following a departmental inquiry ordered by Rajasthan Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar, a three-member committee submitted its findings to the state government, prompting RRVPN to initiate disciplinary proceedings. Assistant Engineer (AEN) Vipin Verma and Electrician Grade-I Babu Singh, both posted at the 400 kV GSS Hirapura, were suspended with immediate effect after the inquiry established lapses in their duties. Both officials have been directed to report to the office of the Additional Chief Engineer (IT) at RRVPN in Jaipur, designated as their headquarters during the suspension period. Separately, a charge sheet was served on Executive Engineer (XEN) R.P. Gupta, responsible for Jaipur City, seeking his explanation regarding the incident.

Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar said that negligence in the power transmission system, frequent tripping incidents, and inconvenience caused to consumers would not be tolerated. Strict action will continue against those found responsible for lapses,' Nagar said.
