Patna, Dec 2 (NationPress) Following his re-election as an MLA for the ninth consecutive term, esteemed BJP figure Dr. Prem Kumar was unanimously appointed as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
After the announcement, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav accompanied him to the Speaker's chair, symbolically assisting him as he took his seat.
In his address, Chief Minister Kumar congratulated Dr. Prem Kumar, stating, “Today, Dr. Prem Kumar has been elected as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
